New Hose Material Now Available Ahead of REACH Proposal
Posted on May 06, 2025The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) is considering a REACH proposal to limit risks to the environment and human health that might result from the manufacture and use of perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) including PTFE material.
With that in mind, FT Water Treatment Ltd is happy to announce the introduction of a new product to replace PTFE Protectaflex and PF Detect at this year’s ChemUK exhibition.
The new TPV product is specifically designed to withstand aggressive chemicals such as 98% Sulphuric Acid and enhance our offering by allowing us to supply larger sizes in longer lengths in both ProtectaFlex and PF Detect dual contained chemical dosing pipework.
