Uninterrupted supply of hose during transition to new supplier

On 30 June 2024, our long-term supplier of dual contained chemical dosing hose, Colex, closed down their UK operations. The entire operation has been bought out by Copely, a Leicester-based company with over 50 years’ experience in the hose market.

Over the last few months, while this transition has been taking place, we have been in close contact with both suppliers to ensure the continuous, uninterrupted supply of Protectaflex and PF Detect for our customers both at home and abroad. With the takeover now fully complete, we would like to take this opportunity to thank Colex for their support over the last few years and we are pleased to say that we will continue to work with many of the staff as they have moved over to the new supplier.

We are also delighted to say that Copely has been fantastic throughout the entire process, listening to our feedback, working on improvements to the product and improving the supply times. This means that we can continue to supply, support and distribute our flexible dual contained chemical dose hose throughout the UK and globally.
